Success!

I received a phone call at 10:30 Alaska Time from Chris, confirming that he, Noel, Kevin, Michael, Peter, Elliot, and guides Peter and Michael reached the summit yesterday!

Chris called this morning and said that they were going to descend the ridge back down to Camp 3 at 14,200'. The weather was not perfect, but Chris had reconnoitered the ridge and the team felt good about descending.

They hope to fly off the glacier for Talkeetna tomorrow.

Good luck on the descent boys!

Woo hoo! Congrats to Kevin on this massive accomplishment...so glad it's been a safe and successful journey. Can't wait to make it home myself, if only to hear the story.

Well done everyone. Hope you all still have your fingers and toes! When everone gets back to the UK we'll have to meet up for a weekend and swap back bits of kit and photo CDs. Sorry I can't be there with you to celebrate, I managed to blag my way home early despite the flights officially being full. Congratulations again. Adam
